PeopleKeeper — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PeopleKeeper ("the App") is a personal relationship manager — a private CRM that helps a single user keep track of the people in their life, log interactions, and remember who to reach out to next. The App is available at https://peoplekeeper.eu.

PeopleKeeper is operated by an individual developer, contact: segerssibron01@gmail.com. That address is also the contact point for any privacy question, access request, or deletion request described in this policy.

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the operator is the data controller for account data, and acts as a processor for the contact and calendar information you choose to store in your account.

2. What data the App holds

Everything the App stores is scoped to your own account and is not shared with other users.

2.1 Account data

Your email address, display name and profile photo, supplied by Firebase Authentication when you sign in.
A user identifier used to keep your data separate from every other account.

2.2 Data you enter

Contact records: names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, birthdays and other dates.
Relationship notes you write: shared interests, memories, how and where you met (including an optional location), and free-text notes.
Interaction history: calls, messages, meetings and other contact moments you log, with their dates.
Events and follow-up tasks, including due dates, priorities and completion status.
Your settings and preferences, such as language and notification choices.

2.3 Technical data

Server logs containing timestamps, request paths and error information, used for reliability and abuse prevention.
A browser push subscription token, only if you enable push notifications.

The App does not use advertising cookies, does not run third-party analytics or tracking pixels, and does not build advertising profiles.

3. Google user data

Connecting your Google Account is optional. The App is fully usable without it. If you do connect it, you are shown Google's consent screen and can choose which access to grant. The table below lists every scope the App requests and exactly what it is used for.

Scope	What the App does with it
`openid`, `userinfo.email`, `userinfo.profile`	Identify which Google Account is connected, and show your name, email and profile picture in the App.
`auth/calendar`	Read your calendar events so meetings with your contacts appear in the App and can be logged as interactions, and create or update events you explicitly schedule from inside the App.
`auth/contacts`	Import Google Contacts you select into the App, detect changes to already-imported contacts so you can review them, and — only when you explicitly press the push/save action — write updates back to your Google Contacts. Google offers no narrower write scope, so read and write are combined in a single permission.
`auth/drive.file`	Store optional backup files of your own PeopleKeeper data in your Google Drive. This is the least-privileged Drive scope: it grants access only to files the App itself creates. The App cannot see, read or list any other file in your Drive.

Google user data is used strictly for these user-facing features. Specifically, the App:

never sells Google user data;
never uses Google user data for advertising, ad targeting, or profile building;
never transfers Google user data to third parties except as strictly required to provide the features you asked for (see section 5), or where required by law;
never allows humans to read your Google user data, except with your explicit consent for a specific support request, for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or where required by law;
does not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Google API Services Limited Use disclosure. PeopleKeeper's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are never exposed to the browser. They are used only by the App's own backend to make the API calls described above on your behalf.

4. Why we process your data (legal bases)

Performance of a contract — providing the account and features you signed up for.
Consent — connecting your Google Account, enabling push notifications, and using the optional AI features. Consent can be withdrawn at any time (see section 8).
Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, available, and free from abuse.

5. Service providers

The App relies on a small number of providers who process data on its behalf. They may only use the data to deliver their service.

5.1 The optional AI assistant

The App includes an optional AI assistant that can summarise your relationships and suggest follow-ups. It only runs when you actively invoke it. When you do, the relevant contact and follow-up information for that request is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing, and the result is returned to you. Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models. If you never use the AI features, no data is sent to Anthropic. Raw Google Calendar and Google Contacts payloads are not sent to the AI provider; only the records stored in your PeopleKeeper account are used.

6. Where data is stored and for how long

Data is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country, including in the United States; such transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards operated by the providers listed above.

Account and contact data — retained for as long as your account exists.
Deleted contacts — moved to Trash and permanently deleted automatically after 30 days.
Change history (for undo) — automatically deleted after 7 days.
Server logs — retained for a short operational period, then discarded.
Google OAuth tokens — deleted as soon as you disconnect your Google Account or delete your account.

7. Security

All traffic runs over HTTPS.
Every request is authenticated with a Firebase identity token; database security rules confine each user to their own data.
Stored secrets, including Google OAuth tokens, are encrypted at rest.
Access to production systems is limited to the operator.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, but the App is designed so that a user can only ever reach their own records.

8. Your choices and rights

8.1 Revoking Google access

You can disconnect Google at any time, in either of two ways:

In the App: Settings → Google integration → Disconnect. This deletes the stored tokens immediately.
In your Google Account: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions, select PeopleKeeper, and choose "Remove access".

Revoking access stops all future calendar, contacts and Drive syncing. Data already imported into your PeopleKeeper account remains until you delete it.

8.2 Export, correction and deletion

Export — you can download a full copy of your contacts, follow-ups and settings from the backup function in Settings, at any time.
Correction — every field is editable directly in the App.
Deletion — individual records can be deleted in the App. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email segerssibron01@gmail.com; the request will be actioned within 30 days.

8.3 GDPR rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. Use the contact address above to exercise them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

9. Information about other people

PeopleKeeper stores information about your personal contacts. You are responsible for handling that information lawfully and respectfully, and for honouring any request from one of your contacts to correct or remove their details. The App provides the editing and deletion tools needed to do so.

10. Children

The App is not directed at children under 16 and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and it will be removed.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the App evolves. The effective date at the top of the page will change, and material changes will be announced in the App. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.

PeopleKeeper ("de App") is een persoonlijke relatiebeheerder — een privé-CRM waarmee één gebruiker de mensen in zijn of haar leven bijhoudt, contactmomenten vastlegt en onthoudt wie er als volgende aandacht verdient. De App is bereikbaar via https://peoplekeeper.eu.

PeopleKeeper wordt beheerd door een individuele ontwikkelaar, contact: segerssibron01@gmail.com. Dat adres is ook het contactpunt voor elke privacyvraag, inzageverzoek of verwijderverzoek uit dit beleid.

In het kader van de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) is de beheerder verwerkingsverantwoordelijke voor accountgegevens, en verwerker voor de contact- en agendagegevens die u zelf in uw account opslaat.

2. Welke gegevens de App bewaart

Alles wat de App opslaat hoort bij uw eigen account en wordt niet gedeeld met andere gebruikers.

2.1 Accountgegevens

Uw e-mailadres, weergavenaam en profielfoto, aangeleverd door Firebase Authentication bij het inloggen.
Een gebruikers-ID waarmee uw gegevens gescheiden blijven van alle andere accounts.

2.2 Gegevens die u invoert

Contactgegevens: namen, telefoonnummers, e-mailadressen, adressen, verjaardagen en andere data.
Relatienotities die u schrijft: gedeelde interesses, herinneringen, hoe en waar u elkaar ontmoette (eventueel met locatie), en vrije notities.
Interactiegeschiedenis: gesprekken, berichten, afspraken en andere contactmomenten die u vastlegt, met datum.
Afspraken en opvolgtaken, inclusief einddatum, prioriteit en status.
Uw instellingen en voorkeuren, zoals taal en meldingskeuzes.

2.3 Technische gegevens

Serverlogs met tijdstippen, aangeroepen paden en foutinformatie, voor betrouwbaarheid en misbruikpreventie.
Een push-abonnementstoken van uw browser, alleen als u meldingen inschakelt.

De App gebruikt geen advertentiecookies, geen externe analyse- of trackingpixels, en bouwt geen advertentieprofielen op.

3. Google-gebruikersgegevens

Het koppelen van uw Google-account is optioneel. De App werkt volledig zonder koppeling. Koppelt u wel, dan krijgt u het toestemmingsscherm van Google te zien en bepaalt u zelf welke toegang u geeft. De tabel hieronder toont elke scope die de App vraagt en waarvoor die precies wordt gebruikt.

`auth/calendar`	Uw agenda-afspraken lezen zodat ontmoetingen met uw contacten in de App verschijnen en als interactie kunnen worden vastgelegd, en afspraken aanmaken of bijwerken die u expliciet vanuit de App inplant.
`auth/contacts`	Door u geselecteerde Google-contacten importeren, wijzigingen aan reeds geïmporteerde contacten signaleren zodat u ze kunt beoordelen, en — uitsluitend wanneer u zelf op opslaan/pushen drukt — wijzigingen terugschrijven naar uw Google-contacten. Google biedt geen smallere schrijfscope, dus lezen en schrijven zitten in één rechtenset.
`auth/drive.file`	Optionele back-upbestanden van uw eigen PeopleKeeper-gegevens opslaan in uw Google Drive. Dit is de minst ingrijpende Drive-scope: hij geeft alleen toegang tot bestanden die de App zelf aanmaakt. De App kan geen ander bestand in uw Drive zien, lezen of opsommen.

Google-gebruikersgegevens worden uitsluitend gebruikt voor deze functies. Concreet betekent dat: de App

verkoopt nooit Google-gebruikersgegevens;
gebruikt Google-gebruikersgegevens nooit voor advertenties, advertentietargeting of profielopbouw;
geeft Google-gebruikersgegevens nooit door aan derden, behalve voor zover strikt nodig om de door u gevraagde functies te leveren (zie hoofdstuk 5) of wanneer de wet dat verplicht;
laat nooit mensen uw Google-gebruikersgegevens inzien, behalve met uw uitdrukkelijke toestemming voor een concreet supportverzoek, om veiligheidsredenen zoals onderzoek naar misbruik, of wanneer de wet dat verplicht;
gebruikt Google-gebruikersgegevens niet om algemene AI- of machine-learningmodellen te ontwikkelen, te verbeteren of te trainen.

Google API Services Limited Use-verklaring. Het gebruik en de doorgifte door PeopleKeeper van informatie die via Google API's is ontvangen, voldoet aan het Google API Services User Data Policy, inclusief de Limited Use-vereisten.

Google OAuth-tokens worden versleuteld opgeslagen en komen nooit in de browser terecht. Ze worden alleen door de eigen backend van de App gebruikt om de hierboven beschreven API-aanroepen namens u te doen.

4. Waarom wij uw gegevens verwerken (grondslagen)

Uitvoering van een overeenkomst — het leveren van het account en de functies waarvoor u zich hebt aangemeld.
Toestemming — het koppelen van uw Google-account, het inschakelen van meldingen en het gebruik van de optionele AI-functies. Toestemming kan altijd worden ingetrokken (zie hoofdstuk 8).
Gerechtvaardigd belang — de dienst veilig, beschikbaar en vrij van misbruik houden.

5. Dienstverleners

De App maakt gebruik van een klein aantal partijen die gegevens namens de App verwerken. Zij mogen die gegevens uitsluitend gebruiken om hun dienst te leveren.

5.1 De optionele AI-assistent

De App bevat een optionele AI-assistent die uw relaties kan samenvatten en opvolgacties kan voorstellen. Die draait alleen wanneer u hem zelf aanroept. Op dat moment worden de relevante contact- en opvolggegevens voor dat verzoek ter verwerking naar de Claude API van Anthropic gestuurd, waarna u het resultaat terugkrijgt. Anthropic gebruikt API-invoer en -uitvoer niet om modellen te trainen. Gebruikt u de AI-functies niet, dan gaat er niets naar Anthropic. Ruwe gegevens uit Google Agenda en Google Contacten worden niet naar de AI-aanbieder gestuurd; alleen de records in uw PeopleKeeper-account worden gebruikt.

6. Waar gegevens staan en hoe lang

Gegevens worden opgeslagen in de infrastructuur van Google Cloud. Verwerking kan plaatsvinden op servers buiten uw land, waaronder in de Verenigde Staten; die doorgifte steunt op de standaardcontractbepalingen en gelijkwaardige waarborgen van de hierboven genoemde partijen.

Account- en contactgegevens — bewaard zolang uw account bestaat.
Verwijderde contacten — gaan naar de Prullenbak en worden na 30 dagen automatisch definitief verwijderd.
Wijzigingsgeschiedenis (voor ongedaan maken) — automatisch verwijderd na 7 dagen.
Serverlogs — kort bewaard voor operationele doeleinden en daarna verwijderd.
Google OAuth-tokens — verwijderd zodra u uw Google-account ontkoppelt of uw account verwijdert.

7. Beveiliging

Al het verkeer verloopt via HTTPS.
Elk verzoek wordt geauthenticeerd met een Firebase-identiteitstoken; databasebeveiligingsregels beperken elke gebruiker tot de eigen gegevens.
Opgeslagen geheimen, waaronder Google OAuth-tokens, zijn versleuteld opgeslagen.
Toegang tot productiesystemen is beperkt tot de beheerder.

Geen enkele online dienst kan absolute veiligheid garanderen, maar de App is zo opgezet dat een gebruiker uitsluitend bij de eigen gegevens kan komen.

8. Uw keuzes en rechten

8.1 Google-toegang intrekken

U kunt Google op elk moment loskoppelen, op twee manieren:

In de App: Instellingen → Google-integratie → Ontkoppelen. De opgeslagen tokens worden dan direct verwijderd.
In uw Google-account: ga naar myaccount.google.com/permissions, kies PeopleKeeper en klik op "Toegang verwijderen".

Na intrekking stopt alle verdere synchronisatie met Agenda, Contacten en Drive. Gegevens die al in uw PeopleKeeper-account zijn geïmporteerd blijven staan tot u ze verwijdert.

8.2 Exporteren, corrigeren en verwijderen

Exporteren — u kunt via de back-upfunctie in Instellingen op elk moment een volledige kopie van uw contacten, opvolgacties en instellingen downloaden.
Corrigeren — elk veld is rechtstreeks in de App aan te passen.
Verwijderen — losse records verwijdert u in de App. Wilt u uw hele account met alle bijbehorende gegevens laten verwijderen, mail dan naar segerssibron01@gmail.com; het verzoek wordt binnen 30 dagen uitgevoerd.

8.3 AVG-rechten

Bevindt u zich in de Europese Economische Ruimte of het Verenigd Koninkrijk, dan hebt u recht op inzage, rectificatie, wissing, beperking en overdraagbaarheid van uw gegevens, en het recht bezwaar te maken tegen verwerking. Gebruik het bovenstaande contactadres om die rechten uit te oefenen. U hebt ook het recht een klacht in te dienen bij uw toezichthouder — in Nederland de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

9. Gegevens over anderen

PeopleKeeper slaat gegevens op over uw persoonlijke contacten. U bent er zelf verantwoordelijk voor dat u daar rechtmatig en respectvol mee omgaat, en dat u een verzoek van een contact om zijn of haar gegevens te corrigeren of te verwijderen honoreert. De App biedt daarvoor de benodigde bewerk- en verwijderfuncties.

10. Kinderen

De App richt zich niet op kinderen onder de 16 jaar en er worden niet bewust accounts voor hen aangemaakt. Denkt u dat een kind een account heeft aangemaakt, neem dan contact op; het account wordt dan verwijderd.

11. Wijzigingen in dit beleid

Dit beleid kan worden bijgewerkt naarmate de App zich ontwikkelt. De ingangsdatum boven aan de pagina wordt dan aangepast en wezenlijke wijzigingen worden in de App aangekondigd. Blijft u de App gebruiken na een wijziging, dan aanvaardt u het herziene beleid.
